One month down! I'm looking forward to the next eleven.
I've really been enjoying this project. There have been a number of "oh crap, I forgot my camera" moments, as well as some "why the hell did I take a picture of that?" moments. More often, though, I take quite a few pictures and it's difficult to decide which one to use for the 365. I also realized that I have a picture in this set that isn't really one of the 365s - it snuck in there, and I don't have the heart to kick it out; it's the one showing my greying hair. It's as illustrative as anything else I guess, so I'm leaving it in.
I also use this project as a reason to learn to use photoshop. I really prefer to use pictures straight out of the camera, for reasons of time if nothing else, but sometimes it's great to have a way to compensate for difficult conditions, like sneaking a photo of the contents of the church refrigerator. You don't get a lot of time to set up for something like that - so having the ability to do a little editing afterwards is helpful.
On to February!
