Victoria Day in Alberta is generally thought to be the beginning of the frost-free days and the growing season, so those not willing to fight the crowds at the campgrounds generally flock to the garden centres or work their kids like slaves in the garden. We, of course, are the latter.
The kids worked really hard weeding and cleaning up the yard, so Tim thought it would be good for them to have a place to cool off. We haven't pulled this pool out since we lived at our old house, but despite mouldering in the shed for four years, it still holds both air and water. Much joy for all.
