You know the Christmas season is upon us when the rounds of Christmas concerts begin. This was not without angst - Stasha had a fit earlier this year when she discovered that the concerts would not be the full scale pageants held at the Yates as they have been previously, but small concerts in the school music room, only two classes at the time. I will spare everyone her imprecations upon the new music teacher, who has been found sorely wanting in her estimation. Thus, we did have the small, cozy (as marketed by the school) concert this week.

Nevertheless, she did manage to crack a smile or two at some points:
That said, although it lacked the pageantry of previous shows, it was short and sweet and certainly less hectic than the big performances at the Yates. It was OK, even though as far as Stasha is concerned, go big or go home. Maybe next year!
