while up in Calgary on a search for bbq pork buns, my sister and aunt and I blundered onto this 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China (so we inferred from the banners). I took advantage of the fact that it was a public event to take a tentative stab at street photography, and this woman actually turned and smiled at me when I lifted my camera. Sunday, Sept 27
