now showing, the prairie coulee edition

the coulees are still quite dry and bare, but here and there,  the wildflowers are starting to show their faces. 

 Geum triflorum, three flowered avens

Prairie smoke, old man's whiskers 

Violet nuttali

 yellow prairie violet 

 buffalo bean, Thermopsis rhombifolia
buffalo bean 

and some kind of vetch, I'm guessing Missouri milkvetch,
some kind of vetch
