I finally had time to cast on for a sweater - I haven't even attempted one in a couple of years. These knitpicks harmony birch needles are so shiny, I had to PS the crap out of this picture so the glare wouldn't be so bad. But, the shininess also makes them very slick and smooth and wonderful to use.

I'm astonished that I have time to do this. The week before Malanka is usually frantically busy with sewing. But this year, it's four days before the event and I have time to...not sew. Cool.
