I have no idea what happened in this picture. We gave Stasha a camera for her birthday and somehow this happened. Weirdness.
Thus, we continue the family tradition of having too many cameras around the house. But, when I think about the old pictures we look at now, of our own childhood and that of our parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles, I'm always glad that someone, somewhere had a camera, and took a picture no matter how corny or unnecessary it may have seemed at the time.
When memories fade, the most mundane and everyday of pictures has meaning, and pictures of those we love have the most meaning of all.
