I think we'll call it "Stashion"

purple velour yoga pants, hot pink t-shirt dress, multi coloured hooded poncho (for the double hooded effect under the pink and purple fall jacket), and handknit multi coloured socks. All pulled together with practical, yet tasteful running shoes from Payless.  It's what 1 out of 23 first graders are wearing.

Meanwhile, Theo gets ready for his weekly beating from his judo pal, Katie:

She's about three years older than him, but for some reason they always pick each other to spar with.

And here he is with the venerable Sensei Senda. Yosh Senda has coached Olympic teams and is responsible for the strength of the 50 year old judo program in Lethbridge. Even at 83 years old, he always has time for the kids who ask him to spar with him. I'm so glad Theo has the chance to have him for a Sensei.
