Every year, the kid's school has a sock hop, the price of admission being food for the Food Bank or a pair of (clean, new) socks. Apparantly, even at this age, the boys hang around the gym wall trying to look cool. I don't want to have to tell them that already they're looking like the Witt cuzzens, Half, Dim, Lack and...er, well, the other one.
However, the lure of hopping to all the classics like the Macarena, Chicken Dance, YMCA, and the Locomotion is just too great. The theme was "Tacky Toque", and the dinosaur balaclava I made a few years ago is too small to really wear, so the neckband is pushed up. That doesn't really explain the look on his face. It's his dancing face.
Why no pictures of Stasha dancing? Really, I couldn't get a good one that didn't have significant tummy or butt crack exposure. And there is really no way to capture Stasha's dancing in a still shot.
However, both kids did got little animal hat prizes for their dance moves.
