This is the first piece of "real" jewelry I ever bought for myself, by far the flashiest, and the first thing I've owned that I consistently get compliments on. Most people think there's a romantic story behind it - special anniversary, something like that. In fact, I hadn't worn a ring for years, because I just got tired of my old one. I just happened upon this in the mall one day, liked it, and decided to buy it. Yep, I got it at the mall.
Winter is really dragging and feels drearier with every cold day. Finding colorful things to take pictures of is something of an antidote.
