Global Drums concert at the university. At the end of the first half, the steel drum band led a procession out into the foyer where the audience clapped and danced along till they broke for intermission. It was fabulous!
I wish I had gotten more pictures during the performance - it was so physical and as my daughter remarked "it looked like they were having the time of their lives!"
But at my first attempt at a picture, my flash inadvertently went off, and I was so mortified I didn't dare try again.
This was extra fun for Theo because the intern who taught his first semester of band was one of the percussionists - it was nice for him to have the connection and the inspiration.
