For the last few years, I have refused to let my kids go to the cacophanous and flashy indoor amusement park at the West Edmonton Mall, despite having an entire day before they fight. This year I relented mostly because we were meeting up with friends who moved to Edmonton several years ago. Her kids were also hysterically happy at being finally allowed to go. March 21
