Very low level of motivation today, so I called Tracey and headed out to Monarch for a walk and some tea. Her adopted dog Benjy, who was abandoned by his owners and left to wander the village of Monarch, is completely adorable. Monarch is a small enough village, and Benjy was on his own for so long, that you can walk with him off leash through town.
He really cracks me up. Because he had been left to fend for himself before my friend found and adopted him, he's still geared towards hunting the birds and ground squirrels that kept him alive in the meantime. Even if it's not out of necessity, he still stalks ground squirrels, which is hilarious to watch, even if it gets his nose dirty.
